Introduction
Welcome to Greensprings Montessori Centre (GMC), Lagos, Nigeria. Our programme is currently undergoing accreditation by Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) based in the USA. We are also processing our affiliation with Independent Not in a Consortium. Our training centre is located in Gbagada, Lagos.
GMC has been organising successful workshops, trainings programmes and short courses in the Montessori Method for some years. As a full-fledged training centre, we are committed to excellence in the training of Montessori Early Years practitioners.

Greensprings Montessori Centre (GMC) is a subsidiary of Greensprings Educational Services Limited, Lagos Nigeria. Our Pre-school subscribes to and upholds the tenets of the Montessori philosophy and method; we consistently aspire to build and sustain a World Class Montessori school.
Dr. Maria Montessori (1870 – 1952), the proponent of the Method was the first female medical doctor from Italy. She devoted her life to developing a system for educating young children. She was the genius behind one of the universally accepted best methods for educating young children. Fundamental to her approach is the belief that a child’s early years- from birth to six are the period when the greatest capacity to learn is examined.
